TERROIR:

You hear a lot about this these days. Terroir comes from the word terre or "land." Winemakers will tell you the quality of wine starts with the vines and the land.

There is the belief that the terroir imparts a unique taste and character to the grapes. Our vineyards are
predominately a gravely loam. Loam is a mixture of sand, silt, and clay which provides our vines with excellent infiltration and drainage.

Speaking of terroir, did you catch Jim's interview with Mike Horn on CRN
Digital Radio?

Listen to Mike Horn's interview with Jim Kimmel. Recoded at Ruth's Chris Steak House, Pasadena.
